6am and i'm jumping up the ceiling..
what a nice way to start the day.. i woke up earlier than usual, rolled over and switched the tv on (i sleep in the living room so i have easy access hehe..) at laking gulat ko ng may nakita akong banda at pamilyar ang kinakanta nila.. (eeee nahiya ako bigla hehe) de, napanuod ko kasi yung barenaked ladies.. and guess what they were singing? pinch me! hehe oo pinch me, as in the several-years-old-song-by-the-then-popular-band-from-the-nineties-that-i-fell-in-love-with-a-couple-of-days-ago-which-you-would-never-understand-why-unless-you'd-look-closely-to-the-lyrics-but-even-though-you-do-that-i-doubt-it pinch me.. hehe.. sobrang tagal na nung kantang yun at hindi ko pinapansin yun dati na ni hindi ko matandaan kung ano ang music video nun at kung meron nga ba.. meron nga ba? ah basta natutuwa talaga ako kasi what are the odds nga naman na mapanuod ko yun eh luma na yun di ba, tapos ang aga pa pinalabas, may advantage din talaga ang mga reruns at outdated episodes.. salamat madtv.. hehe
tara i-memorize natin.. hehe nandamay pa..
it's the perfect time of year
somewhere far away from here
i feel fine enough, i guess

there's a restaurant down the street
where hungry people like to eat
i could walk but i'll just drive
it's colder than it looks outside

but it only comes out as a yawn
when you try to see the world
beyond your front door
take your time, is the way i rhyme gonna make you smile
when you realize that a guy my size might take a while
just to try to figure out what all this is for
it's the perfect time of day
to throw all your cares away
put the sprinkler on the lawn
and run through with my gym shorts on
take a drink right from the hose
and change into some drier clothes
climb the stairs up to my room
sleep away the afternoon
pinch me, pinch me, cause i'm still asleep
please God tell me that i'm still asleep
on an evening such as this
it's hard to tell if i exist
if i pack the car and leave this town
who'll notice that i'm not around
i could hide out under there
i just made you say "underwear"
i could leave but i'll just stay
all my stuff's here anyway
