someone asked me about a mind puzzle/logic knocker thing today.. the question goes like:
"Angry and Hungry are two words that end in "gry". There are three words in the English language. What is the third word? Everyone knows what it means and everyone uses it every day. Look closely and I have already given you the third word. What is it?
Answer: "language".
he was like "huh?!", very clueless.. i tried explaining as clearly as possible, but i'm just really not good at explaining, in case you've never noticed, so he just kinda said, "oh ok, gets ko".. though he looked like he really didn't.. so maybe i should try explaining it here..
the trick of the puzzle is that you must not pay attention to the first sentence about angry and hungry being two of the three words that end in -gry.. it has nothing to do with the question.. "There are three words in the English language." so what is the third word in the underlined phrase? language, isn't it?!.. as simple as a,b,c.. hehehe.. frankly though, the first time i encountered this puzzle, it also took minutes of explanation and i wasn't fully convinced.. want proof? click this..
currently listening to Can't Fight The Moonlight.. damn, good song.. i just realized the other day right after i also realized that Overjoyed is equally good.. and as much as i enjoy listening to them, i'm gonna have to switch to my 4-times-a-week evening ritual.. and as always, i'm late.. hehe.. doesn't matter, i still got 2hrs++ left..
whoever created StiCkY CaPs (by the words of my goodnight love) deserves to be shot.. not a big fan of those.. makes me dizzy.. but geez, 1337 is far worse.. it may look a little cute (or not).. whoever thought of that, on the other hand, deserves to be rolled over by a 10 wheeler truck and be chopped afterwards.. hahaha.. but to think of it, reading words in 1337 would be challenging, or fun even, but hey don't expect me to read it fast.. now, whoever knows what you call phrases written with two dots after them, kindly tell me.. can't seem to remember.. damn my 128mb memory.. hehe..
